Logged in users can edit their locations directly in the map interface:

Necessary capabilities for custom roles

Open User Map automatically sets the necessary capabilities for the default WordPress user roles (Administrator, Editor, Author, Contributor).

Be aware that if you are using custom user roles these capabilities need to be assigned manually:

• edit_oum-locations
• edit_published_oum-locations
• delete_oum-locations
• upload_files

You can use for example the User Role Manager plugin to assign these.
